ABOUT DAVID SCOTT PETERS

DAVID SCOTT PETERS grew up in the restaurant and catering business. His
family owned and operated a successful restaurant and catering business in
Linwood, New Jersey.
After graduating from Northeastern University, David launched his career
focusing on the specialized issues of franchise owners. Later he applied his
expertise as Operations Manager of Coyote Spring Brewery Company & Café in
Phoenix, Arizona.
His credentials and experience attracted the attention of the Scottsdale
Culinary Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona where he taught Management & Human
Resources among other classes.
Recruited as COO and Director of Famous Sam’s, Inc., David’s skillful
handling of the turnaround for the chain improved sales approximately 20% in the
first year.
Today he is responsible for the 30-unit restaurant/sports bar chain with
system-wide annual revenues in excess of $30-million. He oversees every aspect
of the business from marketing to financial analysis.
He also now teaches restaurant owners the same business practices that
make franchise operations strong – training, management systems and solid
financial controls. His practical how-to information is also invaluable for
restaurant start-ups and chain managers who want to shine and fast-track their
careers.
